The Croft Practice

I saw Ana at Meadowcroft Surgery for an annual review, the earliest appointment offered was about 3 weeks away but not a problem as it was routine. All very prompt, thorough and satisfactory with a clear plan forward. I’ve signed up for Patient Knows Best so the blood test results were through very quickly. Unfortunately I can’t understand them but no doubt someone will and contact me if necessary. No complaints all very pleasant and reassuring.

The last few occasions I have attended the surgery I have asked to see a doctor, but I have been sent to a lesser qualified clinician. Why can’t I see my allocated doctor? Also the receptionist asks for too much personal information in a public reception area, it seems that I am expected to self diagnose to the receptionist !

I had a DVLA review as I have Alzheimer’s You don’t list that under conditions below Didn’t need reception as all pre booked but there is no facility to bypass the receptionist question so had to do 1 as no idea so this survey is inadequate

It would be helpful if one could see the same doctor on successive visits for the same condition.

I saw a doctor who I have never seen before, I even thought he was a stand in. He informed me he had been there for years. A fantastic doctor with a great manner. I would happily ask for him again. I have serious long term health issues and can get anxious seeing doctors. I even made a comment to the receptionist on my way out about the doctor.
